Pre-Prohibition Lager | 5.6% ABV | 23% IBU
Gateway Park is a pre-prohibition lager brewed with ingredients commonly used in this same style beer over a hundred years ago; six-row barley flaked corn and Cluster hops. This beer was brewed at our Minneapolis Brewery and pays homage to the Gateway District or as it was known back then, Bridge Square, in Minneapolis. One of the key buildings in the Gateway District was the Metropolitan Building, which was sadly demolished in the 1960s due to urban renewal. However, we are bringing the memory back! Gateway Park is brewed straight from our NE Minneapolis Brewery; from our fermenters to your mouths.
612Brew is a small, independent brewery, building its roots in the Northeast Park neighborhood of Minneapolis. They've set up shop in The Broadway, a historic building located at 945 Broadway St. NE. Among the exposed brick, timber and polished concrete floors you’ll spy lots of beer-making machinery, including a 15bbl steam heated brewhouse with six-30bbl mirror polished fermentation tanks. 612Brew is named after the Minneapolis area code and the original area code of the Twin Cities Metro Area. Opened in 2013, they have just celebrated five years. 612Brew is now one of the oldest production breweries in the City of Minneapolis, producing high quality beers to bars and liquor stores all over the metro area and continuing to grow with each year!
